Youth Groups & Adult Bible Study 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Our Sunday nights are structured so that everyone meets in the sanctuary from 6:00 to 6:30 for welcome time, opening prayer, Hymn requests, and announcements. We then divide into 3 groups: Children's Youth Group, "Teen" Youth Group, and the Adult Bible Study Service.
Sunday Evening 6:00 – 8:00 PM
The Children's Youth Group is very exciting and creative in keeping the children's attention on the evenings lesson.
The evening consists of:
- Singing songs
- A Bible lesson directed toward the specific spiritual needs of each age.
- Crafts
- Various games & puzzles
- Prayer (children make prayer requests)
Special Youth Group Outings:
- Parachute activities
- Cage (BIG) Ball activities
- "Rubber Ducky Race"
- Rafting/Tubing
- Sled riding
- Christian summer camp opportunities...
Sunday Evening 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Each Youth Group consists of a topical Bible lesson, object lesson or Bible study with practical group discussions & activities focusing on the needs of our youth. Fun, aggressive & sometimes wacky games & prizes.
"Food Night" is the second Sunday of the month.
"Game Night" is the fourth Sunday of the month.
Youth Night: once a year the youth group will lead an evening service. This allows the opportunity for the youth to lead in all areas of the service.
The Teen Youth Group is provided opportunities to go on church invitation, soul winning, visitation, be involved with the York Rescue Mission, collect for food drives and distribute, help with V.B.S., set up & clean up for services, sing specials during services, and many other ministry opportunities.
